The theme of the writing for primary through middle school students is What Makes Me Feel Special. The theme for high school students is Who Am I Inside.<br /> <br />Each PTA is allowed to send in 5 entries, per category, to the District for judging. District winners get to hear all or excerpts of their entries read at the Spring Conference.<br /> <br />These entries are due to 14th District by February 15th. They are judged at the district level, and the best are sent on to the state judging. The application and recommendation is mailed to the KY PTA AND the 14th District PTA. The District holds it’s own contest separately from the KY PTA, so a nominee may have a chance to win at the District and/or State level.<br /> <br />The application and recommendation are due to both the KY PTA and 14th District by February 15th.
