Have you done this?
Many of you have not yet supplied the KY PTA state office or 14th District PTA with a contact list of your officers for 2009-2010!
This information is vital to us so that your board members can receive information and notices from both the state and district that allows them to do their jobs correctly and efficiently!
Please print a copy of the Officer Sheet in the PTA/PTSA Business folder at the right. Fill in the contact information for your entire board and mail copies to the state office and to:

New 990-N Online Tax Filing
The new 990-N online only tax form for all non-profit organizations that have gross receipts less than $25,000 must be completed. See Frequently Asked Questions and the IRS link at the right for further information and instructions.
The deadline to file tax returns for all PTA/PTSAs in Kentucky is November 15th, based on our June 30th fiscal year end date.
If you must file the standard 990 tax forms because your gross receipts are more than $25,000, continue to file the same forms you have always done. This new 990-N is for those units that have smaller receipts and have never had to file before. You will be filing for the previous school year.
File the tax forms that you are required to file! Failure to file will result in fines, penalties and possible loss of your tax exemption status!
